Semi-Custom Designs

Semi-Custom Designs are plans constructed from or semi-custom plans. These plans are offered to you for a discounted cost in relation to a custom design and can be modified to suit your needs. In order to have a semi-custom plan designed you must contact our office at (334) 365-1626 to receive a cost estimate and plan design process form for the completion of the design.

Once the estimate is completed and deposits have been paid in full then we will begin the design process. After the completion of the design you will receive a copyright & license agreement from Custom Home Designs. This license grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print up to twelve copies to construct one home from the plan purchased. PDF File Plan Package

PDF files are completed downloadable plans. By choosing a pdf file package you can download your plans instantly and have them printed at your local printers the same day. By purchasing the pdf plan package you will receive a copyright and license agreement from Custom Home Designs by email after you have finished your purchase online. This license grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print as many copies needed to construct one home from the plan purchased. The license is granted to the original purchaser only and may not be transferred to another party. If the plans are modified in any form nobody other than the original purchaser may use them, and they shall remain property of Custom Home Designs. Reproducible Plan Package

Reproducible Plans are printed on erasable vellum and are the best option when minor modifications are needed to a design. By purchasing the reproducible plan package you will receive a copyright and license agreement from Custom Home Designs. This license grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print as many copies needed to construct one home from the plan purchased. The license is granted to the original purchaser only and may not be transferred to another party. If the plans are modified in any form nobody other than the original purchaser may use them, and they shall remain property of Custom Home Designs. 8 Set Plan Package

The eight set plan package is the best option for purchasing bond copies of plans. With this type package you may not make any modifications to the design. These plans may not be copied, traced, redrawn or reproduced in any form. By purchasing the eight set plan package you will receive a copyright and license agreement from Custom Home Designs. This license grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to construct one home. The license is granted to the original purchaser only and may not be transferred to another party.

5 Set Plan Package

The five set plan package is the minimum package available for purchasing bond copies of plans. You may want to consult with your local contractor to determine the number of plans needed. With this type package you may not make any modifications to the design. These plans may not be copied, traced, redrawn or reproduced in any form. By purchasing the five set plan package you will receive a copyright and license agreement from Custom Home Designs. This license grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to construct one home. The license is granted to the original purchaser only and may not be transferred to another party.
